What is Perplexity?
Use it when the answer needs sources. Skip it when you already have the documents and only need a summary.
Perplexity is a research assistant that answers from the web and shows sources. It is the tool for a fast, cited scan before we write or decide. It is not a document workspace.
What can you use Perplexity for?
We use it to check a market, a vendor, or a claim without opening twenty tabs. If the sources are ours, NotebookLM is the better fit.
